Welcome to our guide to managing your Trade Network account on the go.

In this article, we’ll introduce the Trade Network Mobile App and explore some of its key features that make managing your account easier and more convenient—right from your smartphone or tablet.

Part 1: Download the Trade Network App

For iPhone users: Download on the Apple App Store

For Android users: Download on Google Play

Once the app is downloaded, open it and log in using your existing Trade Network username and password. Your login details will be saved automatically, so you won’t need to sign in each time you open the app. If you need help with your login or password, this quick guide can help.

Part 2: Explore Local Trade Opportunities

Go to the menu bar where all app features are listed, click on “What's Nearby.”

Based on your location, the app will automatically show nearby Trade Network members who are actively trading. You can easily scroll through a list of local businesses and services available for barter in your area.

To refresh the page, pull down on the list of options. Your list will automatically update based on your current location.

Part 3: Using the Directory and Search Tools

Open your mobile app and go to the menu bar in the top left corner, click on “Directory.”

The full directory of Trade Network members is available within the app. To browse by category or specific interests, simply scroll to the bottom of the list and tap on “Categories.”

The Categories section will display a list of trade offerings organized by type—such as Health & Wellness, Automotive, Home Services, Dining, and more.

Part 4: The Marketplace: Where Barter Meets E-Commerce

Open the app and tap the menu icon, then select “Marketplace.” This is where you’ll find a wide range of products and services available on 100% trade—no cash needed!

Marketplace listings are sorted alphabetically by default. To adjust, tap “Sort” in the bottom right to view by price, distance, or newest.

Use the search icon (top right) to find items by title, or tap “Categories” (bottom) to browse by type—like home goods, gift cards, jewelry, or electronics.

When you find something you’d like to purchase, tap “Buy Now” on the listing. From there, select your quantity and delivery method, and confirm. Your trade dollars are automatically applied—just like any online checkout. If shipping is needed, a Trade Network team member will contact you to finalize delivery.

Part 5: Accessing Your Account and Member Tools

To view your account details, open the menu and tap “Card, Account & Assistance.”

From there, your digital member card will be shown with the barcode. Every Trade Network gets a physical membership card, but your virtual card will work just as well!

To view your transaction history, scroll to the bottom and tap “Balance & History.” You'll see a list of past transactions, including dates and trade amounts.

For account help, scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Assistance.” You’ll have the option to email Trade Network or call us directly from your mobile device.

Part 6: How to Complete a Trade Using the App (Buy or Sell)

Whether you're paying another member or processing a sale, the steps are the same—just choose the right option from the menu based on your role in the transaction.

If you’re making a purchase, select “Pay a Member.”

If you’re accepting payment, select “Process Sale.”

Then:

Scan the other member’s barcode (or enter their account number manually).
Enter the sale amount and a short description.
Tap “Submit” to complete the transaction.

An authorization number and confirmation will be sent instantly by email or text.
